Brewers & Beers

B = Bottle,  D = Draft,  C = Can,   ABV = Alcohol by Volume,  IBU = International Bitterness Units

We will try to keep this as accurate as possible, issues pop up with brewer supply etc, check back for the latest

700 East State Street

Portsmouth Brewing (Portsmouth)
Crystal Gold (D)
ABV 3.5%      IBU  N/A
A light gold lager with drinkability reminiscent of the German-style lagers brewed by the original owners over 170 years ago.

Elevator (Columbus)

Horny Goat Barrel Aged Porter (B)
ABV 7.5%      IBU  N/A
We had to wait three months to bottle this big porter, every day going into the cooler, giving each oak barrel a hug. But you don’t have to wait. Crack open a bottle today for this rich, robust, full-bodied ale with dark roasted character and hints of vanilla. This beer was brewed to reward you for what you do each day to help make this world go around.

Dark Force Lager (D)
      ABV 5.9%      IBU  22
(this keg is running late but we should have it by Monday 18th! enjoy it in bottles till then!)
Dark Force Lager came from behind in a field of 2,832 to win a Bronze Medal at the Great American Beer Festival in 2007. Well-balanced with a deep copper color, Dark Force has a lightly hopped character with drinkability that leaves you wanting another.

Three Frogs IPA (B)
   ABV 6.9%      IBU  45
Bigger cousin of the English Pale, India Pale Ales were originally brewed with extra alcohol and hops to preserve the beer on the long voyage from England to the colony. Dry hopped, floral essence.

Thirsty Dog (Akron)
Raspberry Ale (D)       ABV 3.9%      IBU  7.5
The inviting flavor and aroma of freshly picked raspberries is naturally infused in this unique, refreshing beer.

Citra Dog IPA (B)
ABV 6.5%      IBU  95
An American IPA bursting with citrus aromas and flavors. You’ll find evidence of tangerine, grapefruit, orange and mango in the aroma from the multiple additions of a single hop variety. There is also a nice malt balance. Bitter and full bodied.

Whippet Wheat (D)
ABV 5.2%      IBU  10
Hefeweizen style beer made with 50% wheat malt and only pure German wheat yeast. Unfiltered and naturally cloudy. Hints of banana and clove appear naturally

Moerlein (Cincinnati)
Strawberry Pig Ale (C)    (Draft was no longer available!)
ABV 6.5%      IBU  N/A
Tempted by the acidity of the Flying Pig Cream Ale, we decided to add a dash of summertime flavor. Eating a fresh strawberry is always a clear sign that summer is at hand. We couldn’t resist the temptation. Enjoy a refreshingly strawberried Pig with us.

Barbarossa (B)
ABV 5%      IBU  N/A    IBU N/A
Historically voted a Brew Week favorite, and we've got it! Double dark lager slow-aged with a deep reddish brown color and a malt aroma derived from Munich dark malt.

Rhinegeist (Cincinnati)
Truth IPA (D)
ABV 7.2%      IBU  75
Our Truth is found in the scintillating brilliance of hops. Brewed with a nod to the Pacific, hops sizzle with tropical fruit aroma, grapefruit and mango notes and a dry finish.

Semi Dry Cider (C)
ABV 6.2%      IBU  0
Cider fermented to amplify the fragrance and essence of the apples whilst achieving a delightful, lip-smacking dryness.

Lagerheads (Medina)
Bed Head Red (D)       ABV 5.9%      IBU  28
Complex red ale with caramel and hints of roasted malt

High Five IPA (B)       ABV 7.5%      IBU  100
An unfiltered American IPA with a citrusy sweet hop profile and floral aroma

Little Fish (Athens)
No-Fi IPA (D)
          ABV 6.0%      IBU  N/A
Wheat IPA brewed with farmhouse yeast and American Hops. Acidulated malt adds a hint of tartness

Harvey Chai-Tel Milk Stout (D)
ABV 5.3%      IBU  N/A
Brewed with chai spices of cinnamon, vanilla, ginger, cardamom and star anise.
We have the last keg!

Mt Carmel (Cincinnati)
Hibiscus Blueberry Blonde Ale (B)
ABV 5.9%      IBU  N/A
Aroma of malt, a hint of blueberry. Taste is caramel malt and slightly bitter hibiscus that doesn’t reveal blueberry until late in a lingering finish. A surprising combination of flavors, each revealed slowly. Nicely balanced, a solid light brew with a little fruit.

Coffee Brown Ale (B)
                      ABV 6.0%      IBU  38
The breakfast beer of Mt. Carmel Brewing Company, this unique brown ale is a collaboration of local brewers and roasters. The bold aroma of Cincinnati's Deeper Roots Coffee balances a body of dark malt, chocolate and toast. Subtle notes of sweet maple and coffee create a refreshingly delicate finish perfect for the start of your morning
